About the Role
What You'll Do:
Teach Country/Line Dance Classes: Lead group and private lessons in various styles of country and line dancing, including but not limited to two-step, cha-cha, and modern line dances.
Create Engaging Lessons: Develop and teach well-structured dance routines for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.
Foster a Positive Environment: Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere for students, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor.
Promote Dance Events: Help promote Azuca’s dance socials, workshops, and special events, encouraging students to participate and continue their dance journey.
Encourage Student Growth: Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them improve their technique and feel accomplished with every class.
Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with other dance instructors and the management team to ensure a cohesive schedule, high-quality experience, and growth of the program.
Requirements
Who We're Looking For:
Experience: 2+ years of teaching country or line dance. Previous experience teaching in a studio setting is a plus.
Passionate Teacher: A love for teaching and helping students grow in their dance abilities. Comfortable teaching in a group setting and providing individual feedback.
Energetic & Engaging: Able to keep students motivated, enthusiastic, and excited to learn. A positive, high-energy attitude is essential!
Strong Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with students of all ages and skill levels.
Organized & Reliable: Ability to manage your class schedule, create lesson plans, and keep track of student progress.
Adaptable: Willing to adjust teaching methods based on the needs of different student groups and skill levels.
